This Cookies Policy explains how B4Bharat Reltech Private Limited ("B4Bharat", "we", "our", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies across the b4bharat.com website, the B4Bharat app, and related sub-domains (the "Platform").
It reads alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and doesn't cover third-party sites we link to. Where cookies collect personal data, the Privacy Policy governs how we handle it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
02What cookies are
Small files a website leaves on your device so it can recognise you next time.
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They're widely used to make sites work, improve the experience, and give owners analytical information about how a site is used.
We also use related technologies that do a similar job: local storage and session storage in your browser, web beacons and pixel tags in pages and emails, and equivalent SDK identifiers inside the mobile app. Where this Policy says "cookies", it means all of these.

We don't use cookies to build profiles of children, and we don't sell the data cookies collect.
04Managing your choices
Your browser and phone settings control everything except the strictly necessary ones.
- Browser. Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking cookies for b4bharat.com will break parts of the Platform, including sign-in.
- Mobile app. Reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings — Android under Settings → Privacy → Ads, iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Withdraw consent. Where we relied on your consent, you can withdraw it any time in the app's privacy settings or through our Grievance Officer. Withdrawal doesn't undo processing already carried out lawfully.
Clearing cookies signs you out and resets your preferences, so you may need to set them again.
05Third parties & retention
Third-party cookies. Some cookies are set by providers who help us run the Platform — hosting, analytics, crash reporting, communications, and RBI-regulated payment aggregators. They act under written contract and only on our instructions, but their own notices also apply to what they set. We do not allow data brokers to place cookies on the Platform.
Retention. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last only as long as needed for their purpose and then expire. Analytics and device logs are kept briefly, then aggregated or anonymised. Retention periods for the personal data behind these cookies are set out in our Privacy Policy.
06Changes & contact
Changes. We may update this Policy as our services, technology or the law change. The version and effective date at the top always show the current one, and we give reasonable prior notice of material changes.
Questions and complaints. Contact our Grievance Officer, appointed under the DPDP Act, 2023 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, 2021. Their name and contact details are at b4bharat.com/help. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and ordinarily resolved within 30 days. If you remain unsatisfied, escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.
