Sarthi Partner Agreement

The agreement between you and B4Bharat when you work as an independent B4Bharat Sarthi in your district.

  • Version S-1.0
  • Effective 23 October 2026
  • Governing law: India
Accepted in the Sarthi app.

After your interview, KYC and bank verification you read and accept this Agreement in the Sarthi app; your Sarthi code is issued once you accept. The version you accept (S-1.0) is recorded with your Sarthi profile.

01Who this Agreement is between

This Agreement is between B4Bharat Reltech Private Limited (36/5, Hustlehub Tech Park, Somasundarapalya Main Rd, adjacent 27th Main Road, ITI Layout, Sector 2, HSR Layout, Haralukunte Village, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560102) (“B4Bharat”, “we”) and you, the individual B4Bharat has approved as a Sarthi (“you”). It is an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000: you accept it in the Sarthi app and no signature is needed. B4Bharat is a private limited company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013.

It reads with the B4Bharat Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Where they differ on your work as a Sarthi, this Agreement prevails.

TermMeaning
Sarthi appThe B4Bharat app with the Sarthi portal, where you see your code, linked customers, their orders, your earnings and your payouts.
Sarthi codeYour unique code, with its share link and QR code, that customers link to their account.
Linked customerA shop (B4Bharat Dukaan) or household (B4Bharat Ghar) customer whose account is linked to your code.
Attributed orderAn order placed by a linked customer while the link is active, as recorded on the order.
CommissionWhat you earn on an attributed order under the Commission section below.
TerritoryThe district or districts assigned to you in the Sarthi app.

02Becoming a Sarthi

  • You apply in the app and attend an interview. If B4Bharat approves you, you complete KYC: your PAN, a photo or selfie, address proof, and a bank account in your own name.
  • B4Bharat verifies your documents and bank account. Approval is at B4Bharat’s discretion.
  • You then accept this Agreement in the app. Your status becomes active and your Sarthi code is issued.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract under Indian law. You must also live in India, have a valid PAN and a savings bank account in your own name, and not be an employee of B4Bharat or of a seller on B4Bharat.
  • Your KYC details must be true and kept up to date. False or borrowed documents end this Agreement (see Suspension and termination).

03You are an independent contractor

In short

Aap B4Bharat ke employee nahi, independent partner hain — apna kaam, apna samay, apna kharcha.

  • You work as an independent contractor. This Agreement creates no employment, partnership, joint venture or agency.
  • You get no salary, fixed hours or employee benefits. You decide how and when you work, within this Agreement.
  • You bear your own costs, such as travel, phone and mobile data.
  • You cannot sign, promise or commit anything on behalf of B4Bharat, any seller or any brand — including prices, discounts, delivery dates or credit.
  • You are responsible for your own income tax and for any registration the law requires of you. If your income stays below the GST registration threshold, you do not need to register for GST. If you are registered, give your GSTIN to Sarthi support and send B4Bharat a valid tax invoice for your commission; B4Bharat then pays the GST on top of the commission. You are responsible for your own GST returns.
  • You may also work for other companies, including other platforms. Never use B4Bharat’s name, materials, your Sarthi code, share link or customer data for them, and never ask customers you introduced through your code to move to a competitor.

04No earnings promise

  • What you earn depends only on the orders your linked customers place, receive and pay for. B4Bharat does not promise any income, any number of customers or orders, or any payout amount.
  • Any example, illustration or calculator — on the website, in training, in messages or in the app — is illustrative only. It is not an offer or a promise.

05Your territory

  • Your territory is as assigned in the app: the district or districts shown in your Sarthi app.
  • Exclusivity, if any, is as shown in the app. B4Bharat assigns each district to only one Sarthi at a time, but that does not stop customers in your district from linking another Sarthi’s code. If your Sarthi profile stays paused for 30 days (for example after you move your account to another portal), your territory ends automatically and is not restored if you come back. If you are suspended or this Agreement ends, B4Bharat may end your territory. A district that ends may be assigned to another Sarthi.
  • B4Bharat may change your territory with notice in the app. The notice is at least 7 days, unless the change is because you are paused, suspended or leaving, or this Agreement ends.
  • Your territory does not decide who is linked to you: a customer is attributed to you only by linking your Sarthi code (see Your Sarthi code and attribution).

06Your Sarthi code and attribution

  • Customers link to you by entering your code — at sign-up, in their account or on the first-launch form — or by opening your share link.
  • A customer can have one active Sarthi link. They can change or remove it after the waiting period shown in the app. B4Bharat may also link or unlink a customer to correct an error or stop abuse. Every change is kept as history.
  • An order is attributed to the Sarthi linked to the customer when the order is placed. The link and the commission terms are recorded on the order at that moment, so later changes do not alter past orders.
  • Attribution follows B4Bharat’s platform records, which are final unless there is an obvious error. If you think an order was attributed wrongly, tell Sarthi support within 30 days after the order is placed; after that, the record stands.
  • You cannot link your own account to your code.

07Commission

In short

Commission sirf delivered aur poore paid orders par banta hai. Rate aapke Sarthi app mein dikhta hai.

  • Rate: the commission rate is as shown in your Sarthi app. It may differ between shop (Dukaan) and household (Ghar) orders, and B4Bharat may set a rate specific to you.
  • Base: commission is calculated on the order value excluding GST, after discounts and excluding delivery charges, as shown in your Sarthi app. A per-order limit may apply; the commission shown against each order in your Sarthi app is the amount after any limit. The discounts deducted are the quantity and coupon discounts on the order. The per-order limit is set by B4Bharat from its own earnings on the order and is not shown in the app. If an order’s items change before delivery, the base is worked out again on the changed order.
  • When it is earned: commission accrues only on an attributed order that is delivered and fully paid, and only if you are active at that moment. Nothing accrues on orders that are cancelled, rejected, unpaid or not delivered, or while your Sarthi profile is paused or suspended.
  • What you see: each attributed order shows its commission as Pending (not yet delivered), Earned (accrued) or Paid (included in a payout).
  • Changes: B4Bharat may change rates, the base or limits with notice in the app. A change applies to orders placed after it takes effect.

08Reversal and recovery

  • If an order is refunded after delivery, in full or in part, the commission on it is reversed in proportion to the refunded amount.
  • If that commission was already paid to you, it is recovered from your next payouts. If a payout period’s earnings are less than the amount to recover, the balance carries forward. If no future payout is due, for example after this Agreement ends, B4Bharat may set the amount off against anything else it owes you, and you must repay any balance within 30 days of B4Bharat’s written request.
  • Commission paid on an order later found to be fraudulent or wrongly attributed is recovered the same way.

09Payouts and TDS

  • Earned commission is paid on the payout cycle shown in your Sarthi app, by bank transfer in Indian rupees.
  • Payouts go only to a bank account in your own name that B4Bharat has verified. Without a verified account, a payout waits until the account is verified.
  • A minimum payout amount applies, as shown in your Sarthi app. Smaller amounts carry forward to the next payout.
  • TDS as required by law is deducted from payouts, and B4Bharat issues the TDS certificates the law requires. TDS is deducted under the income-tax law in force, at the rate and above the yearly threshold that law sets, and deposited against your PAN. If your PAN is invalid or inoperative, for example because it is not linked with Aadhaar, TDS is deducted at the higher rate the law sets. B4Bharat issues a TDS certificate for each quarter in the prescribed form, within the time the law allows; Sarthi support sends you a copy on request.
  • Every payout has a statement in the app showing the orders, reversals and deductions it covers.
  • B4Bharat may hold a payout while it verifies your bank details or investigates suspected fraud or a breach of this Agreement. Such a hold lasts no more than 30 days after the date the payout would otherwise have been made, unless a court or another authority requires a longer one. B4Bharat tells you the reason in the Sarthi app or on WhatsApp, unless the law or an investigation does not allow it. If the review finds a breach, the Suspension and termination section applies.

10How you must work

In short

Cash kabhi nahi, OTP kabhi nahi, fake account kabhi nahi.

You must:

  • tell customers truthfully what B4Bharat is, and that they pay only inside the app;
  • respect customers’ choices, including their choice not to link your code or to remove it;
  • follow the law, including consumer-protection, data-protection and tax law.

You must not:

  • create fake customer accounts, or accounts for people who have not agreed to them;
  • place, inflate or split orders artificially, or route your own purchases through customer accounts;
  • collect cash or any payment from customers, sellers or anyone else on B4Bharat’s behalf;
  • ask for or use anyone’s OTP, or log in to a customer’s account;
  • promise prices, discounts, delivery times, earnings or anything else on behalf of B4Bharat, a seller or a brand;
  • pressure, mislead or harass customers, or use misleading means to move another Sarthi’s linked customers to you;
  • share your Sarthi login, or let anyone else work under your code.

11Customer data and confidentiality

  • The Sarthi app shows you limited details of your linked customers — for example a first name or shop name, city, a masked phone number, and their orders’ status and amounts. Use them only to serve those customers under this Agreement.
  • Do not copy, export, sell or share customer data, or use it for any other purpose. Follow the B4Bharat Privacy Policy and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. In particular: keep no copies or lists of customer details outside the Sarthi app; delete any customer details you hold, for example on your phone or in notes, when this Agreement ends; and if you learn that customer data has been lost, leaked or misused, tell B4Bharat within 24 hours at contact@b4bharat.com or +91 82951 00101.
  • Prices and other information shown only inside your Sarthi app, your commission terms and B4Bharat’s internal information are confidential. Do not publish or share them outside the app.
  • These duties continue after this Agreement ends.

12B4Bharat’s name and materials

  • While this Agreement is in force you may use the B4Bharat name and logo, your code, share link and QR code, and the materials B4Bharat gives you — unchanged — only to introduce customers to B4Bharat.
  • Do not create your own advertisements, social-media pages, websites or printed material in B4Bharat’s name without written approval.
  • Stop using them when this Agreement ends.

13Suspension and termination

  • You may end this Agreement at any time by request in the app or to Sarthi support. It ends 7 days after your request, or sooner if B4Bharat agrees; until then this Agreement applies as usual.
  • B4Bharat may suspend you, which freezes payouts, or end this Agreement at once for fraud, false KYC, handling cash, misuse of customer data or any other serious breach; and otherwise with notice in the app. Without such a reason, the notice is at least 15 days, in the Sarthi app or on WhatsApp.
  • When this Agreement ends your code stops earning. Commission already earned on genuine orders is paid in the normal cycle after any recovery — unless the Agreement ended for fraud, in which case B4Bharat may withhold it and recover amounts already paid.
  • If you move your account to another B4Bharat portal, your Sarthi profile is paused: commission already earned is paid in the normal cycle, but no new commission accrues while you are not active.
  • Your linked customers’ links after the Agreement ends: no commission accrues on those customers’ later orders, and B4Bharat may end the links. The customers keep shopping on B4Bharat as before; they may link another Sarthi’s code straight away, and B4Bharat may link them to another Sarthi.
  • The sections on reversal and recovery, data and confidentiality, liability and indemnity, and disputes continue after this Agreement ends.

14Liability and indemnity

You will indemnify B4Bharat against losses, claims and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your breach of this Agreement or the law, your dealings with customers, or anything you promise without authority.

B4Bharat is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of expected earnings. B4Bharat’s total liability to you under or in connection with this Agreement is limited to the commission paid or payable to you in the 3 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes or limits a liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

15Disputes and governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Raise a dispute first with Sarthi support and then with the Grievance Officer (contact details at b4bharat.com/help); both sides will try in good faith to settle it. If it is not settled within 30 days of being raised, either side may refer it to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed by both sides together or, if they cannot agree, under section 11 of that Act. The seat and venue of the arbitration are Bengaluru, Karnataka, and it is held in English. Subject to this, the courts at Bengaluru have jurisdiction.

16Changes to this Agreement

  • The version and effective date at the top of this page identify the Agreement in force (version S-1.0 today).
  • B4Bharat may change this Agreement, for example when the law or the programme changes. We publish the new version here and tell you in the Sarthi app; you may need to accept it again to keep working as a Sarthi. We tell you at least 15 days before a change takes effect; a change the law requires may take effect sooner. If you do not agree, you may end this Agreement before the change takes effect, without the 7-day notice. If you keep working as a Sarthi after that date, the new version applies to you.
  • Orders keep the commission terms recorded on them when they were placed.
